Words Were Always at Home
Patricia grew up with a father who wrote poetry and long letters from the Pacific during World War II. His love of words stayed with her through years in the classroom, educational writing, and eventually into the stories she now shares with young readers.
Her work is shaped by the belief that children can face hard things, choose courage, and still find hope.
Patricia stays connected to the writing community through organizations including Southwest Writers, Pikes Peak Writers, Rocky Mountain Writers, Women on Writing, Children’s Book Insider, and Sapphire Script Print & Media.
