Teacher. Storyteller. Inspirer.

Writing With Heart

Patricia Gable began writing after a meaningful career in education. A lifelong love of words, shaped in part by her father’s letters and poetry, found a new home in stories for young readers.

Her books make room for courage, family, friendship, faith, and the choices that shape a life. They are written for children who need hope on the page and adults who want a story worth sharing together.

Faith

Stories where hope remains present, even when the path ahead is difficult.

Courage

Young people making brave choices, protecting one another, and finding their voice.

Kindness

Characters who discover that friendship and compassion can change a moment.

WHERE THE STORIES BEGIN

Words Were Always at Home

Patricia grew up with a father who wrote poetry and long letters from the Pacific during World War II. His love of words stayed with her through years in the classroom, educational writing, and eventually into the stories she now shares with young readers.

Her work is shaped by the belief that children can face hard things, choose courage, and still find hope.

Patricia stays connected to the writing community through organizations including Southwest Writers, Pikes Peak Writers, Rocky Mountain Writers, Women on Writing, Children’s Book Insider, and Sapphire Script Print & Media.
